Service User Voice Group

We are looking for women or girls who have accessed, or who are currently accessing any of our services; Counselling, Group Work, P&E and Helpline & Email support, to help make our services better for other women and girls.

We want to make sure as women and girls, you feel:

  • Comfortable accessing our services

  • Services make a difference

  • Services are high-quality

  • We provide everything you need, when you need it

  • We cater to your specific needs no matter what your background, identity or experience

  • Listened to about what needs to change

  • You can contribute ideas to make things better

We would love you to join our ‘Service User Voice Group’ to hear your thoughts about what we need to keep doing, need to improve on and ideas for new things we should be prioritising. We will take the learning from the group to make a difference to our services for women and girls.

How to get involved?

We will have face to face to sessions as well as written feedback. You can do both or just one, whatever works best for you.

We will be holding 4 face to face sessions before April 2024, and will be welcoming your thoughts on what these sessions will focus on. Along with these sessions, every 3 months we would also invite you to write your thoughts down.

Our next face to face session is Monday 5th February in Newcastle city centre. Please contact your worker or pedwards@rctn.org.uk to sign up and to get more information about the location and time.

Support for contribution

  • 1-2-1 session before to help identify any needs you have in attending the group and to find out more about the group and the practical things you need to know about where we meet and how to get there

  • Travel expenses – bus, Metro or mileage costs

(and in some cases taxi if this support is needed)

  • A contribution to childcare costs – if you need support to be able to attend
