Breaking the silence – live music and community

Festive Quiz Night - Tuesday 10th December 2024 Door open 6.30pm, quiz starts at 7.30pm

Join us for a relaxed evening of solidarity, community, and music at Breaking the Silence, a free event hosted by RCTN.

A powerful social event to support women’s voices and survivors with informal discussions, and fantastic music as we explore how to better support women and girls who have experienced sexual violence.

We have conducted focus groups and research into the experiences of survivors of sexual violence. This work has explored the power of words, how language impacts those who have experienced sexual violence, and what meaningful support looks like for women and girls affected by these issues.

What to Expect

  • Insights from our research on language, support, and survivor experiences.
  • A celebration of International Women’s Day
  • A chance to connect with others who want to create change.
  • Two incredible musical performances from
