Support for Older Women who have experienced Sexual Violence
Sexual violence can happen to anyone at any age, from very young to very old. People often believe that only younger women experience sexual violence and this is not the case.
We support all women and girls 13+ who have experienced any form of sexual violence, it may have happened last night or 20 years ago. We are here for you.
We are completely independent of the police and criminal justice system and offer specialist person centred support. We offer a range of services which are listen below.
You don’t have to be alone. We believe you and we will listen.
Practical and Emotional Support
Our Practical and Emotional Support service have a specialist Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) that offers support to women and girls aged 13+.
They can offer practical support around things like work, housing, benefits and health, including reproductive and sexual health.
They offer a safe space for you to have someone to talk to, provide reassurance and encouragement.
If you choose to report to the police or have an ongoing police investigation, we can support you. It is important that you do not tell us the details of what you experienced as this could harm your case.
Counselling
Our counsellors welcome women and girls aged 13+. There is no age limit, we recognise that sexual violence impacts women of all ages and we are here for you.

Group Work
Our group work is open for women and girls aged 16+. You’re able to join our groups if you do not have an ongoing police investigation or court case. We offer a range of different groups, with some being online and others being in person.
