A message from Donna

It’s that time of year again when we put on our walking boots to raise vital funds for RCTN

On Saturday April 12th Myself, Cath & Christine will be walking from Amble to Whitley bay! All in total will be around 30mile.

This is a charity that is extremely close to my heart & I have seen first hand how crucial & fundamental the work is this organisation offers! As sexual violence towards woman & girls still exists so must this charity! The support they offer is imperative to all who access it.

Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland (RCTN) is a charity that provides services to women and girls who live, work or study in Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.

They are completely independent of the criminal justice system including the police. The services are free and confidential.

They are there for women and girls over 13 who have experienced any form of sexual violence at any time in their lives.

They are for all women including, but not limited to, women who identify as Lesbian, Bi, Trans and/or Questioning; Black and Minoritised women, Refugee women; and disabled women. Their definition of women-only includes Trans women and non-binary people who identify that women’s services are right for them.

I feel so privileged to beable to a part of such a dedicated organisation who continue to support woman & girls who have experienced sexual violence.

Please, please, please donate, as every single penny raised goes towards the vital work this amazing organisation does in a pursuit to bring a much needed end to sexual violence.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
