This 12 week group is an opportunity for women from Tyneside and Northumberland who have experienced sexual violence to practice simple yoga.
The sessions will take place in central Newcastle with a fully-qualified teacher trained in trauma-informed kundalini yoga.
Each class will last for 1 hr 15 in total including time for warm-up and cool down. We will practice gentle yoga movements for all abilities and fitness levels.
No previous yoga experience required. Comfortable, warm clothing (layers) essential.

Are you a woman survivor of sexual violence who has already attended one of our groups and is interested in creative writing in a safe, facilitated space?
This group might be for you. Over 6 weeks we will explore storytelling with author and creative writing tutor, Tracey Iceton.
Each session will focus on a different aspect of writing, using easy and creative exercises.
You can choose whether to write about yourself or about something completely different, the choice is yours.
