Mindfulness
We thought about mindfulness and how we would describe it.
For us, mindfulness is about finding different ways to truly appreciate all of your senses. That can involve meditation, physical or mental exercise.
It is about experiencing the present moment in time at its fullest.
We created our Mindfulness Toolkit with Mindful Therapies and a group of survivors of sexual violence.
Our Mindfulness Toolkit is a book of themed activities and accompanying recordings of meditations. It is to be used in our Mindfulness Groups and to be accessed by women survivors themselves.
