Volunteer in frontline roles

Dawn Bowman, Volunteer Coordinator: “To volunteer in frontline services we need women who feel they are able to work in an emotionally challenging environment and who are prepared to commit to regular and long-term help.”

Women volunteer with us to delivery all of our services for women and girls with the exception of our Counselling Service.
The route into all frontline volunteer roles is via experience in our Helpline and Email Supporter role.

We carry out recruitment for this role in line with our scheduled Volunteer Training.  Recruitment for Helpline & Email Support Volunteer role is currently closed but we do hold a waiting list of women interested in the role.

We are not able to support counselling placements or have volunteers as part of our counselling team.
