Volunteer in frontline roles

Dawn Bowman, Volunteer Coordinator: “To volunteer in frontline services we need women who feel they are able to work in an emotionally challenging environment and who are prepared to commit to regular and long-term help.”

Women volunteer with us to delivery all of our services for women and girls with the exception of our Counselling Service.  The route into all frontline volunteer roles is via experience in our Helpline and Email Supporter role.

For more information click here for the Helpline & Email Support Volunteer – Role Description

Women interested in volunteering with us should read Our Mission Statement which includes our statement on feminism.

If you are successful in the application process you will be offered a place on our volunteer induction training.  We are currently training Helpline & Email Support Volunteers and therefore recruitment for this role is currently closed.

We will be open for recruitment for this role again in Spring 2021, if you are interested in this role and would like to be added to the waiting list please contact our Volunteer Coordinator: dbowman@rctn.org.uk

We are not able to support counselling placements or have volunteers as part of our counselling team.

Note:  Due to the current situation with Covid-19 all of our volunteer opportunities are only available remotely.
