Volunteer in frontline roles

Dawn Bowman, Volunteer Coordinator: “To volunteer in frontline services we need women who feel they are able to work in an emotionally challenging environment and who are prepared to commit to regular and long-term help.”

Women volunteer with us to delivery all of our services for women and girls with the exception of our Counselling Service.  The route into all frontline volunteer roles is via experience in our Helpline and Email Supporter role.

For more information click here for the Helpline & Email Support Volunteer – Role Description

Women interested in volunteering with us should read Our Mission Statement which includes our statement on feminism.

If you are successful in the application process you will be offered a place on our volunteer induction training.  We had to postpone our spring 2020 volunteer training and we are now planning an early 2021 training programme for Helpline and Email Support Volunteers.  We will be actively recruiting for this training soon and publishing the schedule here.

Recruitment Schedule: We are now actively meeting potential volunteers.

To begin the recruitment process for the Helpline & Email Support Volunteer Role contact our Volunteer Coordinator: dbowman@rctn.org.uk

We are not able to support counselling placements or have volunteers as part of our counselling team.

Note:  Due to the current situation with Covid-19 all of our voluntary opportunities are only available remotely.
