Volunteer in frontline roles
Dawn Bowman, Volunteer Coordinator: “To volunteer in frontline services we need women who feel they are able to work in an emotionally challenging environment and who are prepared to commit to regular and long-term help.”
Women volunteer with us to delivery all of our services for women and girls with the exception of our Counselling Service. The route into all frontline volunteer roles is via experience in our Helpline and Email Supporter role.

If you are successful in the application process you will be offered a place on our volunteer induction training. We have had to postpone this year’s volunteer training until due to Covid-19, once social distancing and isolation has come to and end we will plan the course. You are still welcome to check out the information about our roles and express an interest, our Volunteer Coordinator will then put you on a waiting list until we are able to open recruitment again.
We are not able to support counselling placements or have volunteers as part of our counselling team.
