Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland has been providing specialist support and recovery services to women and girls for over 40 years. Our training is written, designed and delivered by professionals who are specialists in working with women and girls who have experienced sexual violence at any time in their lives.
Live Training
We are able to tailor our training to the needs of your organisation or to deliver one of our standard courses. Our training can be delivered in-person or online, we can be flexible on course length to meet your needs.
Self-Guided Online Learning
Our self-guided online learning is aimed at increasing knowledge and confidence about sexual violence and supporting those who have experienced it.
Our online training can be accessed at a time that is convenient for you. The training is flexible, learners can complete the training in short chunks.
It All Adds Up Educational Resource
Sexual harassment impacts the lives of women and girls everyday.
What may seem small to some, can have substantial impacts to the lives of women and girls.
Our It All Adds Up Educational Resource has been created to raise awareness around violence against women and girls. This open-access, digital resource pack has been produced for use by education professionals in secondary school settings (and beyond) to aid learning around sexual harassment. This resource has been designed for multiple educational settings and is aimed at young people aged 14 –18 years old.
There are a series of educational resource packs which can be downloaded, that are tailored to different education levels. In these resource packs you will find, lesson/session plans, presentation slides, activity sheets and guidance notes, all to help support the facilitation of sexual harassment teaching.
